Governor’s Message

Late Sri BP Singhal was a highly eminent personality of India who as a teacher; administrator and writer was revered as legend. Sri Singhal, from the very beginning of his career had a penchant for excellence in academics. He had left an indelible imprint in the realms of administration, as the Chairman of CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification), as Additional Secretary, Govt of India, and as Principal of Dr BR Ambedkar Police Training College, UP during his long years of meritorious service. His concept of Indian education combined true Indian culture with western advanced technology. His book ‘Maa ki Pukar’ had been widely acclaimed through the length and breadth of this country being a rare treatise on human values and value based education. Sri Singhal was a Member of Parliament of India.

Looking Beyond the future:

It is nearly a decade since business management school boom has continued unabated in India. Various factors like globalization, liberalization, opening up of the economy have helped the boom to sustain. I have no doubt in my mind that ultimately only those institutes shall come to occupy worthwhile positions in the hierarchy of management education, which excel in quality education and earn a brand name in the galaxy of educational network.

It is very heart-warming to see that our Integrated Academy of Management and Technology, continues to fulfill the cardinal objectives for which it was founded and in the latest reports it ranks 13th in the list of the best management institutes of northern India and is still making high strides. Pointed attention is being paid to quality concerns by constantly improving the infrastructure facilities, efficient and transparent administration, and excellence in faculty appointments besides sound industry linkages and above all, an outstanding track record in the placement of those who accomplish graduation. The academy has upheld its impeccable track record at the altar of ranking and rating of business schools by the leading media houses and occupies an enviable rank among the top management schools in India.

The single most challenging task for the managers of the 21st century, both in the field of management and technology is managing diversity, multi-skilling and multi-tasking. I am of the firm opinion that value enhancements of a business school can come about only through knowledge acquisition and there are no shortcuts. There is no doubt in my mind that INMANTEC shall continue to achieve the ultimate objective of producing excellence and desire to elevate themselves through a constant and conscious endeavor, by adhering to the basic four principles:

I wish all at the Institute ever more laurels in the coming years.
